Situated on the north-facing slopes of the Santa Rosa Hills in Santa Barbara County, the Alma Rosa estate vineyard, El Jabali, was planted in 1983 and became the first certified organic vineyard in Santa Barbara County.

Our European style bar offers the best selection of wine, draught and bottled beer, espresso, pastries, salads and panini in a beautiful setting in the heart of Solvang. We showcase the best small-batch local wine available, as well as a large selection of delicious International wines, especially those from Europe.

The vineyards of Lucas & Lewellen are located in the three wine growing valleys of Santa Barbara County: Santa Ynez Valley, Los Alamos Valley, and the Santa Maria Valley. These valley vineyards benefit from a rare transverse mountain range topography, an east-west orientation which channels the cool ocean air of the Pacific into the coastal valleys, allowing warm days and cool nights, to produce a long, gentle growing season.

We carry a wide variety of sweet and dessert wines ranging from a Moscato to the popular Concord. Touching the palate of the more traditional wine drinkers we also carry drier wines for our visitors. We also offer a special wine and chocolate pairing, featuring chocolates made by local chocolatiers. Both sweet and dry wines are paired with rich chocolate truffles crafted by Santa Barbara?s own Jessica Foster, along with handcrafted chocolates made especially for Royal Oaks to pair with individual wines. Relax on our outdoor patio or in our remodeled tasting room while enjoying a wine tasting of special wines paired expressly to enjoy with a variety of our chocolates.

Our estate vineyard is planted on the hilltop mesa overlooking the tasting room, orchard and lower vegetable gardens. The vineyard is a set of rolling and undulating hills, each planted to a grape varietal best suited to that particular location.
