Planted exclusively to Rhône varietals, our vineyard is a unique blend of two terroirs: our lower vineyard was once the home of an ancient river bed and floodplain, our upper vineyard was once the river bank. Originally planted to five blocks in 1997 and expanded to a sixth block in 2017, each clone is planted and farmed in the location and soil that best suits it.

Nestled in an oak tree-studded 40-acre vineyard located in the heart of Santa Barbara County, Roblar Winery and Vineyards reflects the spirit of Santa Ynez Wineries — rustic, authentic, and bold. Our philosophy is to showcase the variety and beauty that only Santa Ynez vineyards have to offer. With our diverse lineup of delicious wines, our truly farm-to-table paired delights, a locally sourced food menu, and our fantastic estate-driven experiences, there’s no other Santa Ynez winery like Roblar.

We are an organic vineyard: we let the grapes enhance themselves into wine without the aid of adjustments, additives, or enhancements and are low in sulfur. At Coquelicot Estate Vineyard, we craft natural wines while limiting our impact on the environment.

We carry a wide variety of sweet and dessert wines ranging from a Moscato to the popular Concord. Touching the palate of the more traditional wine drinkers we also carry drier wines for our visitors. We also offer a special wine and chocolate pairing, featuring chocolates made by local chocolatiers. Both sweet and dry wines are paired with rich chocolate truffles crafted by Santa Barbara?s own Jessica Foster, along with handcrafted chocolates made especially for Royal Oaks to pair with individual wines. Relax on our outdoor patio or in our remodeled tasting room while enjoying a wine tasting of special wines paired expressly to enjoy with a variety of our chocolates.
